In January of 2018 I decided I wanted to get involved with singing. With some help from a friend I found Randy Loran in Seattle to help me get started. The first year was a long year to learn the basics, after which things started to make more sense. I continued on and worked with additional coaches when Randy was busy with his own bands. With the help of my husband Pat, which is very hands on with the Computer Editing of music and an engineer, we began recording songs. Eventually I published some songs to iTunes & Youtube. The journey continues solely for personal fun as the main reason for my efforts. I consider myself so lucky to have met and worked with so many talented people who have tirelessly helped me improve. Below are some of the folks to which I consider myself blessed to have received help from. Now my journey continues by doing recordings in Nashville to enjoy the contributions of some very amazing & wonderful musicians…..

What a treat to work with Ivan. His vast experience brings a unique approach to singing.

Ivan Rutherford has performed the role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables over 2,300 times on Broadway and national tours. He was honored with the role during the 10th anniversary company in New York, and played alongside Andrea McArdle (original Annie) at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine, and Lea Salonga on Broadway in the 20th anniversary Les Miz revival. Ivan was also nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Valjean at the First Annual National Broadway Theatre Awards, held at the New York Supper Club in NYC. Some other favorite roles include The Caliph in Kismet, Tony in Westside Story, Lt. Joe Cable in South Pacific (in which he won a Drama-Logue Award) and Officer Charles Lightoller in the Broadway production of Titanic.

Ron Browning - Vocal Coach Nashville

Recently I started vocal training with Ron Browning. This is such a special experience to work with such a nice person with such an amazing track record, most notably with Alison Krauss.

The lessons with Renee started online via Skype, which I had never done before. Eventually I traveled to Nashville and had a few lessons. Renee helped me prepare for a live performance with Girl Crush and Need You Now. It is an honor to have been helped by this world renowned vocal coach and sweet lady.

When I started singing lessons, I was privileged to meet Randy. He helped me get started, moving forward and made it fun! He himself is a very talented vocalist in the Northwest with bands - Infinity Project, Invisible Touch, Elton Joel, & Seed.

I feel blessed to work with such an accomplished Coach & Musician. Susan has provided a very detailed level of coaching in the past year to help me construct the small building blocks of singing to develop a strong effort for recording. She is easy to work with and very knowledgable on helping vocalists.

Lyle is a masterful and very talented guitar player and vocalist. He has been an endless help with songwriting and backing tracks. My first live Performances with Lyle in 2019. I am so lucky to know him.
