Excellent production, incredible mix. Outstanding clarity and tonal balance, really warm sound. Band sounds amazing, great arrangement and instrumentation. Stellar guitar/mando/pedal steel work. Drums and bass are locked tight. Heart-wrenching melodies, great pop chord progressions. Fantastic vocal performance; very affable and accessible singing style, with a confident and resolute delivery that does well to enhance the tone and atmosphere of the song. Lyrics are sentimental and memorializing, in a good way. There's a great sense of comfort and poise to the text, which I think listeners will find to be peaceful and emotionally calming. All in all this is a wonderful contemporary country track, very well written and nicely executed. Tremendous work, all around!
